Our Engagements

Three ways we can work together — each sized for a different point in your business.

Whether you want a single honest review, a targeted operational fix, or an ongoing advisory relationship, we have an engagement designed for it. Fixed fees, clear scope, no surprises.

How We Approach It

We start with understanding, not with answers.

Every engagement starts with listening. We do not arrive with a pre-built set of recommendations. We take time to understand how your business actually runs — the formal version and the real version — before we form a view. That makes the advice more useful and less likely to land in the wrong direction.

01

Discovery

We gather information about the business — how it operates, where the owner's attention goes, and where the friction lives.

02

Assessment

We assess what we have found against what we know about well-run businesses at your scale. We form a view about what is worth addressing.

03

Delivery

We present findings and recommendations in plain language — in person and in writing — so you can understand and act on them without needing us to interpret.

Engagement 01

Bench Review

RM 720 · Single engagement

A single engagement that lays your business out on the bench so we can see how the parts fit. We assess your current setup and point out what is working well and what could be tightened. Suited to owners who like things practical and concrete.

What is included:

  • A working session with a senior advisor (typically 3–4 hours)
  • A written review of what we found, delivered within 5 working days
  • A short, honest list of fixes worth considering — prioritised by impact
  • A brief follow-up call to discuss any questions on the written review

How it runs:

  1. 01 You get in touch and describe where you think the business has friction.
  2. 02 We arrange a working session at your location or our office in Ipoh.
  3. 03 We work through the business together — operations, processes, tools, structure.
  4. 04 You receive the written review and we talk through any questions.

Best suited to: owners who want a clear, independent view of where their business stands before deciding what to change.

Engagement 02

Process Refit

RM 1,950 · Five-week engagement

A five-week engagement to refit the workings of your business so they run more cleanly. We examine your operations, handoffs and tools, then recommend sensible adjustments you can implement comfortably. Aimed at small teams wanting steadier, less stressful day-to-day operations.

What is included:

  • A detailed process review covering how work moves through your business
  • Two working sessions — one early, one to review findings and recommendations
  • Written recommendations with implementation notes
  • A follow-up call four weeks after delivery to check on progress

How it runs:

  1. 01 First session: we observe and ask — understanding how the business currently operates.
  2. 02 We analyse operations between sessions — where the inefficiencies live and why.
  3. 03 Second session: we present our findings and talk through the recommendations together.
  4. 04 Written recommendations delivered. Follow-up call a month later to assess progress.

Best suited to: small teams where the day-to-day feels harder than it should, and the owner suspects the issue is process rather than effort.

Workshop Partnership

RM 3,380 · Six-month advisory relationship

A six-month advisory relationship where we keep your business well-maintained over time. We meet monthly, review what we have built together, and make careful adjustments. Suited to owners who value steady, hands-on guidance through a period of change or growth.

What is included:

  • Six monthly working sessions — one per month across the engagement
  • Quarterly reviews of overall direction and progress
  • Responsive support between sessions for questions that cannot wait
  • A written summary after each session and each quarterly review

What the rhythm looks like:

  1. 01 Month 1: orientation — we learn the business thoroughly and set a shared agenda.
  2. 02 Months 2–5: monthly meetings — review, decide, adjust. Work on priorities identified together.
  3. 03 Month 3 and Month 6: quarterly reviews — broader perspective on direction and what has changed.
  4. 04 Between meetings: available for brief calls or messages on matters that come up.

Best suited to: owners going through a period of change — growth, restructuring, staff challenges, or a shift in market conditions — who want a steady, experienced voice alongside them.

Across All Engagements

What stays constant, regardless of which engagement you choose

Confidentiality

Everything you share with us stays between us. We do not reference your business with other clients, and we do not use your information beyond the engagement.

Defined scope

Each engagement has a written scope that we both agree to before the work begins. If the scope needs to change, we discuss it first.

Meeting discipline

We prepare for every session. Meetings start on time and have a clear purpose. We do not use session time to catch ourselves up on things we should have read in advance.

Clear written outputs

We write in plain language. No industry shorthand, no vague summaries. What we deliver should be readable and actionable without our being in the room.

Senior involvement

The advisors who conduct your sessions are the advisors who assess your business. There is no handoff to a junior colleague after the initial conversation.

Clean completion

When an engagement ends, it ends. We do not push for continuation. If you want to do further work together, that conversation starts fresh — not because we have made ourselves indispensable.

Pricing

Fixed fees for each engagement

All prices in Malaysian Ringgit. No hidden fees, no overtime charges, no retainer lock-in beyond the stated period.
