Why Kenanga

The kind of support that actually holds

Hands-on, not hands-off

We sit with you and work through things together. You get practical direction, not a long report you have to interpret on your own.

Honest about what matters

We tell you where we see real issues and where we do not. No list of unnecessary fixes just to fill a page.

Scaled to your size

Small businesses are different from large ones. Our work is shaped around what is actually relevant at your scale, not adapted from enterprise playbooks.

Respectful of your time

Sessions are focused. We prepare before we meet so the time you spend with us is useful, not spent getting us up to speed.

Grounded in Perak

We understand the local business context — the pressures, the networks, the pace. That grounding makes the advice more relevant.

Careful with what you share

Everything discussed in our sessions stays between us. We treat your business information with the same care you would expect from a trusted colleague.

Ready when you are

Not sure which engagement fits? Let's talk it through.

A short conversation is usually enough to work out where to start. There is no pressure and no obligation — just a calm, useful discussion about your business.

Common Questions

Things people usually ask

What kind of businesses do you work with?
We work with small businesses across a range of sectors — retail, professional services, food and beverage, trades, and more. The common thread is owners who want to understand their business better and run it with less strain. If you are not sure whether we are a good fit, a short call will tell us both.
How do your sessions take place?
We meet in person at our office in Ipoh or at your premises, depending on what makes more sense for the work. For follow-up conversations in the Workshop Partnership, we can also meet online. We prefer face-to-face when possible — it tends to be more productive.
Do I need to prepare anything before we meet?
It helps to bring a general sense of where you feel friction in the business — areas that feel slow, unclear, or consistently problematic. We do not need detailed documentation upfront. We will ask the right questions when we sit down together.
How long before I receive written recommendations?
For the Bench Review, you will receive your written review within five working days of the session. For the Process Refit, written recommendations are delivered at the end of the five-week engagement. We want to give you something considered, not something rushed.
What does the Workshop Partnership involve month to month?
Each month we meet to review progress, look at what has changed in your business, and decide what to focus on next. Every quarter we step back for a broader review of direction. Between meetings, you can reach us if something comes up that cannot wait. The relationship is designed to feel like a reliable sounding board, not a formal engagement.
Is the pricing fixed or does it vary?
The prices listed — RM 720 for the Bench Review, RM 1,950 for the Process Refit, and RM 3,380 for the Workshop Partnership — are fixed for the scope as described. If your situation requires something different in scope, we will discuss that openly before any agreement is made.
