What You Gain

Six things our clients consistently find useful

A clear picture of your business

Owners often know something is off but cannot quite say what. We help you see it clearly — what is working, what is not, and what is worth addressing first.

Recommendations you can act on

We write our findings in plain language. What we suggest is specific to your situation — not generic advice you need to translate before it becomes useful.

Experience at the right level

The people who meet with you are the people who do the work. You are not handed off to a junior after the first conversation.

Advice without unnecessary weight

We do not suggest changes that would require you to restructure your entire operation. We look for sensible, proportionate adjustments that make the business steadier.

Transparent, fixed pricing

You know the cost before you commit. RM 720, RM 1,950, or RM 3,380 — depending on the engagement — with no surprises added later.

Someone who knows Perak

We are not applying advice developed for businesses in Kuala Lumpur or overseas. We understand the local business landscape and factor it in.

Professional Expertise

Experience that comes from doing the work, not studying it.

Our team has worked directly in operations and business development across small and medium businesses in Malaysia. We have sat on the owner's side of the table. That changes the quality of the advice — it is grounded in what is actually achievable, not what looks good on a diagram.

  • Direct business operations experience
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian small business context
  • Multi-sector experience across retail, services, trades, F&B

"We carry experience in operations, process design, and commercial decision-making. Not certificates we have accumulated — work we have actually done."

"We respond within one business day. If you have a question between sessions, you get an answer — not a holding message."

Client Service

Accessible without being available around the clock.

We keep our client load manageable so that each client gets proper attention. You will not find us stretched too thin to respond. We set clear expectations about when and how we communicate, and we hold to them.

  • Response within one business day
  • Between-session support in the Workshop Partnership
  • Clear scope so you know what is included

Value and Pricing

Fixed fees. No retainer surprises. No scope creep.

Consulting fees can be unpredictable. Ours are not. Each engagement has a stated price before you commit, and the scope is clearly described. If something falls outside what was agreed, we discuss it openly before doing the work — we do not present a bill for extra hours you did not anticipate.

  • Bench Review: RM 720 — fixed, one engagement
  • Process Refit: RM 1,950 — five weeks, fixed scope
  • Workshop Partnership: RM 3,380 — six months, clearly defined

"What is on the page is what you pay. We find that knowing the cost upfront helps owners engage with the work rather than worrying about the bill."

What Sets Us Apart

Four things that are particular to how we work

We complete a proper review before recommending anything

Most advisory conversations lead to recommendations within the first meeting. We do not do that. We need to understand the business first. The Bench Review is specifically designed to gather that understanding before any advice is given.

Our written outputs are meant to be used, not filed away

We write in a way that makes the recommendations easy to pick up and act on. No abstract frameworks. No lengthy preamble. Just a clear description of what we found and what we think is worth doing about it.

We look at the whole business, not just one department

Many consulting engagements focus on a narrow slice — marketing, HR, finance. We take the view that a small business is a connected system. Changes in one area affect others. We factor that in when we make recommendations.

We exit cleanly when the engagement ends

We are not trying to make ourselves permanently necessary. When an engagement concludes, you should be in a better position to manage without us. That is how we measure whether the work was useful.
